You're in the deepest part of the Further, surrounded by darkness. You have a lantern, and a small box, and there's a red door behind you.

As you walk away from the door, your surroundings fade away into the darkness.

The Man With Fire In His Face

The Red Door gives way to a realm of an even deeper shade of red. An eerie song plays on a phonograph while a man sharpens his claws on a grindstone. By the time you notice that he's seen you, it's too late. You've become trapped in his realm.

After what feels like forever, you finally come to a house. As you open the door, you see several lost souls who don't seem to have noticed you yet.

They've Noticed You

Despite your strength from still being alive, you're simply too outnumbered. You've joined them as another lost soul stuck in the Further.

You're Lost.

You turned around to try and find a familiar landmark, but no matter how much you walk, you never find anything. There's nothing but darkness wherever you turn. You've become yet another lost soul stuck in the Further.

You manage to sneak past most of them, but one of these souls noticed you and moves to attack.

As you proceed further, you begin to hear something... a voice. Calling you by name.

You Lose

Your fear overpowers you almost as much as the spirit does, and you run. But this thing knows the Further better than you do, and it's not long before you become yet another lost soul trapped in the Further.
